Purpose of chapter: to introduce Voice, that enables creation and management of voices recorded with the Microphone. Handling voices and photos is very similar.

The History mainpage has no filter dedicated voices, though opening its Tracklist gives a clue to where to find voices, by virtue of its colored shortcuts (see Other cell shortcuts).
However, using The 'Remove restrictions' button first and then opening the Voice subpage in group track mode, gives an overview of all voices saved in the App.
The (always enabled) navigation bar button
opens the:Actions here do not address items that exist on the page - they are generic.
The word Clb in many of the actions listed below, is an abbreviation of Clipboard.
Tapping the

The list of generic actions is the same for Single- and Group track mode - though the
and actions are always disabled in Group track mode.The reason is, that a voice attaches to a single track (or note), which cannot be determined in group mode.
Individual actions may be disabled for other reasons than this, explained in appendices in parenthesis, e.g.:
Nothing prevents duplicates - i.e. it's possible to have two or more identical voices for the same track / note.

Opens Dictaphone, where you can do a single voice recording - and tap to return to:
When an item is added, it appears after existing ones. By moving up / down items may be reorganized.
The item held in the Voice Clb, is played.
Useful if you'r in doubt about the Voice Clb content.
This action is enabled in single track mode only.
The item held in the Voice Clb is added after existing ones - i.e. at the bottom. A Toast message appears shortly:
This action opens a File selection dialog:
The 'slb_audio_temp.m4a' item is a temporary work file used by the Dictaphone.
Only files with extension .m4a are accepted - to demonstrate this, a file 'image.png' was placed in the 'Sailor Logbook' directory in the Files App and selected:
Selecting another file gives a better result:
Opposite action is Action on Voice Menu action: Export voice to file.

The cell holding the voice changes color as long as it plays. And a Toast message appears shortly.

The title can be entered here and in Dictaphone subpage (before tapping ).
After having made some more recordings and entered their titles, the page displays:

Disabled for the first item (no 'wrap-around'). Applying the action to the second results in:
Disabled for the last item. Applying the action to the (now) first item results in restoring of the above.

The above dialog is shown the first time the action is done after start of App only. Thereafter just a Toast message appears shortly:

Use this action in case an item should be moved a long distance - instead of using repetitive move up / down actions, And then delete the item, to which the
action was applied.Since the pasted item is here just a duplicate, it's removed again - by the usual Swipe left to delete:

The reason to use bold title for the first item of a track is to group the tracks, as it appears above.
Everything displays and works as described in the previous sections of this chapter. But actions:
are disabled - and actions:
apply to the same track only; to move a photo from one track to another, follow this action sequence:
Opening the Voice subpage from Action on current track menu is managing Voice Options Menu in single track mode. After adding a couple of voices, the Track mainpage might look like:
Note the #V:2 mark under the red arrow. Like in the Tracklist, it constitutes a shortcut: Tapping it brings you directly to the this Voice subpage. Alternatively, use Action on current track menu, which in this case displays as:
When tracking is ended, shortcut(s) on the Track mainpage are disabled - just as the CurrMore button.
The examples above relate to tracks only.
However, 'voices' in relation to Make a note work the same way. This could be relevant for example when you want to document spring preparations on the boat: symphonic sound of the renovated diesel...
