Purpose of chapter: to introduce Export, that manages creation of Backup files of your App database (inside Sailor Logbook App).

When you you have done some tracking and / or done some kind of data update, you are ready to export your tracks/notes to a Backup file.
An export processes the App database on your device, and comprises:
The designation row is synonym with tracks and notes.
The f) and i) items are stored in a table named 'attitude' in the App database.
Imagine three tracks (titled 'T1', 'T2' and 'T3') have been created.
Tapping Export the first time will then open:
This page has no Options menu.
Tapping Tap here to create a Backup file opens:
When confirmed, export is done, ending up in a receipt:
Now imagine this transaction sequence:
Tapping Export a second time now opens:
Tapping Tap here to create a Backup file and confirming again, export is repeated and ends up with this receipt:
Finally imagine a transaction sequence like:
Tapping Export this time opens:
Tapping Tap here to create a Backup file and confirming again, export ends up with the receipt:
If no more transactions found place hereafter, tapping Export opens:
It's assumed, that the previous Backup file is preserved and still exists! Otherwise, do a new Export.
A device is set secondary by setting Settings mainpage: Device is primary Switch OFF. This can only be done on a 'clean' device (meaning nothing needs to be updated).
But exporting is reserved the primary device - so tapping Exort on a secondary device is rejected:
