In the Your first track chapter, two editors were illustrated:
What was not shown, is that there is two types of Event editors to choose from in the Behaviour section:
The With pickerscreens type was used in the previous chapters.
However, the With pickerwheels type might just as well have been used. Using the two Event editors have exactly same result, follow same validation checks and are opened from same places:
So choice of Event editor type is only a matter of taste. Maybe the pickerscreens type is best to start with, and maybe the pickerwheels type is best for the experienced user.
If this type was selected, a tap on New event... in the Track mainpage would open:
Compare with the other Event editor screen
and after filling in like in the Your first track chapter, this would appear:
Compare with the other After entering some data screen
Both event editors comprises up to five attribute sets.
Like before, switch settings in the Use event attributes section of the Settings mainpage control which of the attribute sets to use.
The value of an attribute is set or changed by dragging the wheel. On small screens not all wheels are visible - in that case drag a heading (e.g. Current direction and force:) to scroll the page.
