Settings mainpage - Use event attributes

The Use event attributes section is placed at bottom of the Settings mainpage. Like the Behaviour section, it comprises settings that will seldom need to be changed, once they have been determined

It's revealed by dragging its heading upwards and thereby scrolling the page (on larger screens scrolling isn't needed).

It has five ON-OFF switches. Their default setting after installation is shown below. All can be set mutually independently, and are saved every time you press the home button.

The switches

With these switches you can suppress things of no value to you. For example you may want to know your engine hours but none of the other items.

In other words, turning these switches on / off will reveal or hide the corresponding attribute set in the Event editors.

Turning a switch off, doesn't mean any attribute value set previously saved is lost - you simply will not see it and cannot record new values for it, until you switch it on again.

To illustrate, if all switches except Wind direction and force are set OFF, the Event editor is reduced to:

The background color change from yellow to teal blue indicates state RECORDED - and has nothing to do with changed switch settings.

Settings of the Use Event Attribute switches has no effect on map displays, except contents of Callout dialogs.
