Purpose of feature: managing restore from the Website database (Web DB) of your App database (App DB)
When you - doing the last two tasks with the Account Manager - have:
- and you have done some uploads (with your Primary device), you are ready to download your tracks/notes from the Website, if needed.
A download replaces your database in the App (App DB) with an exact copy of the database at the Website (Web DB).
If you tap Download on you primary device, two situations are considered:
'Clean' means nothing needs to be updated. In this example, nothing was done after the Third upload example was completed:
After Tap here if you want to proceed you must confirm:
- and if you tap 'Yes', a receipt page is given:
Else, if anything was changed but not updated (in this example, a Track was created):
The warnings shown depend on the changes done. If you in continue - spite of being warned - this dialog opens:
- and if you persist, a receipt page is given, exactly as above.
A device is set secondary by setting the Device is primary switch OFF. This can only be done on a 'clean' device, so compared with downloading to a primary device, there is only one situation here, after tapping Download :

Since a download copies the whole Web DB over the network to the App DB, this could be time consuming. However, experience shows that download of more than one hundred tracks on a fast network takes only few seconds.
