When a track has been ended - or was interrupted - you have the option to resume it:

Resuming a track

Or, if the App was closed and restarted after a track was ended, this screen would appear:

Resuming a track

In addition to the   New track   button, now also the   Resume   button is enabled - tapping that opens a dialog like:

Resuming a track

After confirming, the App waits for you to move approximately 10 meter:

Restrictions (top)

Resuming is only possible for the newest track, and only if it has state Recorded - i.e. it hasn't been uploaded.

Resuming should usually be avoided, as the intended use of the App is recording uninterrupted cruises from harbor to harbor. However, if tracking for some reason has been interrupted, resuming is an option.

Ending a track, and later resuming it saves battery during long, straight line cruises.

Distance and speed calculations on tracks that were resumed will be wrong - unless following a straight line when not tracking.

The text Resume plot replaces the text-note for the event assigned to the (previous) last plot - whether is was Last plot or Pause plot - or even Interrupt plot.

The Pause plot text-note applies to automatic ending of tracking after a Long pause.

If the Tzone number, the resumed track originally was recorded with, doesn't match the number last specified with the TzoneNext Setting dialog, the last is adjusted to fit the former.

The purpose and use of Tzone's is described in the Using Track zones chapter.
